Black Lives Matter
Praised by The New York Times for his "fine" acting, Thomas grew up performing alongside his identical twin brother in operas, concerts, and musicals with Dicapo Opera Theatre. His dad (also an identical twin!) was a violinist and his mom is an opera singer.
Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a Master of Science from Bank Street College. He completed the core improv training program at Upright Citizens Brigade and has studied acting with Austin Pendleton, Geoffrey Owens and Lee Roy Rogers.
Prior to pursuing an acting career, Thomas worked as a bilingual special-education teacher at Castle Bridge Public School. In the classroom, he enjoyed many authentic experiences engaging an audience, responding to a scene partner, and living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.
