Praised by The New York Times for his "fine" acting, Thomas Vorsteg grew up performing alongside his twin brother in operas, concerts, and musicals with Dicapo Opera Theatre.
Thomas has studied acting with Austin Pendleton, Geoffrey Owens and Lee Roy Rogers. He also completed the core improv training program at Upright Citizens Brigade. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a Master of Science from Bank Street College. Currently, he is a member of The Forge, the resident company at Hudson Theatre Works, as well as the Acting Company of NJ Play Lab.
In the 2019-20 season, thus far, Thomas has performed in Dissecting Civil Rights at The Tank, Ether at IRT Theater, The White Blacks at Theater for the New City and Thunder Rock at Metropolitan Playhouse, which earned him a NY Innovative Theatre Nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Featured Role.
